There are 11 different crane operator certification categories depending on the type and lifting capacity of the crane you are operating. For the purposes of certification, the categories of crane are determined by the “deadweight” capacity, which can be found by referencing the highest lift capacity at the minimum radius found on the crane’s load chart.  The following list will guide you to the type of certification you require.
